Ben is a Senior Surveyor in the Occupier Business Rates team at Montagu Evans, where he advises clients on a wide range of business rates matters across England. His experience spans both the 2017 and 2023 rating lists, during which he has managed and negotiated rating appeals for an extensive variety of property types, including offices, retail, industrial, leisure, and specialist assets.

Ben provides comprehensive rating advice covering all stages of the Check, Challenge, Appeal (CCA) process and has achieved successful rate reductions for numerous clients. His expertise extends beyond rating appeals to include guidance on lease renewals and rent reviews.

Before joining Montagu Evans, Ben worked at WSP GL Hearn, specialising in Central London retail and office assets and advising clients on complex business rates issues.

He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and an affiliate member of the Rating Surveyors Association (RSA).
