    Florence joined Montagu Evans, after completing the MSc in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes, where she works  as an Assistant Historic Environment and Townscape Adviser. She also has a BA (Hons) in Archaeology from the University of Manchester.

    For a number of years, Florence worked as a field archaeologist, gaining experience in both rural and urban locations. She has worked on high-profile projects such as HS2, excavating the former burial ground near Euston Station.

    Florence has worked on a variety of projects across London and further afield to Scotland and Wales. This work has involved a mix of large-scale development and tall building projects, assessing their impact on the surrounding historic environment and townscape. She has also been involved in detailed historic building analysis to assist in producing heritage statements in support of complex listed building and planning permission consents.
