Florence joined Montagu Evans, after completing the MSc in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes, where she works  as an Assistant Historic Environment and Townscape Adviser. She also has a BA (Hons) in Archaeology from the University of Manchester.

For a number of years, Florence worked as a field archaeologist, gaining experience in both rural and urban locations. She has worked on high-profile projects such as HS2, excavating the former burial ground near Euston Station.
