Steven is an expert in rating, specialising in large portfolios for both the public and private sectors, including the whisky, pharmaceutical, industrial, education and healthcare sectors.

Steven has over 35 years of experience in dealing with all aspects of the rating process, including appeal discussions, rate budgets, splits and mergers of properties, as well as empty rates relief in respect of commercial, retail and industrial properties throughout Scotland and the north of England.

Steven has practised across a wide variety of classes of subjects of a specialist nature, such as those valued on the contractor’s basis and receipts and expenditure basis of valuation.
