Tobias is a Chartered Surveyor in the Rating Advisory team, where he specialises in non-domestic rating appeals and liability consultancy advice to occupiers in both the public and private sectors. In his career to date, he has dealt with rating appeals for a wide variety of property assets across the majority of England for both the 2017 and 2023 rating lists. Tobias has settled appeals for clients, securing reductions as well as providing consultancy advice, especially to clients under check, challenge, and appeal.

Tobias joined Montagu Evans in September 2023, joining the graduate scheme where he completed four six-month rotations in different parts of the business. These included Business Rates, Residential Valuation, Development Advisory and Retail & Leisure Investment Agency.

Tobias joined the Rating Advisory team in September 2025 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
