Nicola Roberts is Social Value & Responsible Business Manager at Montagu Evans, where she is building on the firm’s established social value programme and embedding it across the business.
Passionate about creating opportunities for people and communities, she works with colleagues, clients and community partners to develop initiatives and partnerships that deliver meaningful social impact. With a particular strength in stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration, Nicola brings together businesses, public sector organisations and community partners to create opportunities, strengthen communities and deliver lasting social impact.
Nicola’s career began in education after studying English at Queen Mary University of London and qualifying as a secondary school teacher. Her early experience working with young people and leading a social mobility careers programme sparked a long-term interest in widening access to opportunity. She later led youth-focused charity partnerships at Santander before spending more than seven years at British Land, where she shaped and delivered place-based social impact programmes across Regent’s Place, Paddington Central and Broadgate. Delivering British Land’s Thriving Places strategy, Nicola brought together stakeholders to create opportunities and positive outcomes for local communities, with a particular focus on education, employment and affordable space.
Today, Nicola combines expertise in social value, community engagement and responsible business with a genuine belief that successful places should create opportunities and value for the people who live, work and learn around them.
