This masterplan was highly commended by the RTPI for its strong focus on delivery.
Montagu Evans worked within a multi-disciplinary team, leading on all aspects of property and delivery advice. 20 major site interventions were identified and tested in design, viability and delivery terms. Alongside this, a programme of softer initiatives were included to provide a much more holistic approach to the City Centre.
We worked with a wide range of stakeholders and conducted extensive public consultation.
The economic case drawn from the masterplan was a key reason the Aberdeen Council were able to enter into a ‘City Deal’ with the Scottish Government.
