Key information
The Montagu Evans Residential Valuation team is retained by Vistry to review multi-unit offers received for houses across their national development portfolio and provide valuation advice supporting the disposals.
Our advice is required to support Vistry’s partnerships strategy, which seeks to pre-sell around 65% of plots at future schemes, primarily multi-unit deals with key partners, including Registered Providers and PRS investors.
To date, Montagu Evans has provided valuations in respect of nine bulk disposals of single-family housing (SFH). These valuations are often required in challenging timescales and relate to sites located across the whole of England. We review local market conditions and comparable evidence in order to value the plots being transferred, liaising with local sales teams.
As part of our advice, we also consider the level of bulk discount that can reasonably be offered to multi-unit purchasers.
