MONTAGU EVANS PROMOTES FOUR TO PARTNER

Montagu Evans has announced its annual Partner promotions coming into effect at the start of April 2020.

Lucy Markham and Dr Timur Tatlioglu, both specialists in heritage and townscape in the firm’s planning team, have been promoted from Associate to Partner.

  • Lucy is dual-qualified with both the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and the Royal Town Planning Institute and has postgraduate qualifications in Historic Conservation, Urban Design and Spatial Planning. She has since worked on complex and high-profile projects including the South Bank Centre, Tate Britain, Somerset House, a number of former NHS sites and the redevelopment of Waltham Forest Town Hall.
  • Timur has a doctorate in Georgian estate landscapes and is an affiliate member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation. He has over 10 years’ experience in providing expert heritage and townscape advice and was closely involved with the recent flagship stores in London’s West End for Microsoft and Tiffany & Co. Timur works in the Retail, Residential, Education and Infrastructure sectors and is a specialist in the redevelopment of former gas sites having undertaken a national heritage review for two national gas providers.

Adam O’Neale specialises in out of town retail and leisure lease advisory and has also been promoted from Associate to Partner. With over 13 years’ experience in retail and leisure property across the UK, he primarily advises landlords on rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gears and is experienced in acting as Expert Witness in third party referrals. His detailed sector specific experience encompasses retail parks, clusters and solus units, restaurants and drive-thrus, health clubs and gyms, together with other D2 uses.

Angus Marlow-Thomas in the firm’s London office agency team has also been promoted from Associate to Partner. He has particular expertise in Central London and advises a number of corporate landlords and developers including Motcomb Estates, Schroders, Newmark, Patrizia, Network Rail and The City of London Corporation, as well as a large range of both corporate and creative occupiers.
