Montagu Evans has reports profit and revenue increases for its latest financial year.

In accounts filed at Companies House for the year ending 31 March 2018, the partnership reports a 16% turnover increase to £48m and an operating profit increase of 15% to £27m.

Rob Bower, Montagu Evans’ Managing Partner said:

“This has been another good year for the partnership. We’re very proud of the work the team is undertaking and the positive difference it is making to clients.

“We continue to attract and retain individuals who offer deep-rooted, specialist skills that can directly support clients in overcoming specific challenges, or provide valuable additions to large cross-service teams working on wider industry issues. The future of our town centres, the reinvention of retail, making more of health and government estates to benefit society and the taxpayer, and bringing forward new homes to meet a nationwide need are all areas we are particularly focussed on.

“2019 is likely to be a challenging year. But uncertainty brings opportunity and, throughout, we will continue to focus on our people while they continue to push forward our clients’ best interests. Further infrastructure support, investing in learning and development, and greater diversity are all key priorities.”

Montagu Evans currently has 95 partners, having made five strategic partner hires since January 2018. A further three start in 2019. It also appointed 13 graduates this year, nine of them based within its growing development & valuation consultancy and planning teams, while half the 2018 summer interns went on to join the firm. Overall 62 full-time appointments have been made since this time last year.
