Montagu Evans have appointed former Cushman & Wakefield Head of Development and Place John Percy as a Partner in its town centre sector team.
John is a leading town centre regeneration adviser and property development expert bringing 25 years of expertise to the role. He has worked on some of the country’s highest profile developments including Grand Central Birmingham, Brent Cross and HS2, involving a mix of public and private sector clients including Aberdeen Standard, Columbia Threadneedle, Newcastle City Council, British Land, Hammerson, Intu, M&G, Mole Valley District Council and BCP Council. He also chairs the Revo Urban Development Committee.
At Montagu Evans John will help shape the strategic growth of the firm’s town centre sector team, and further enhance its ability to work with clients across the UK on wide-reaching regeneration and repurposing projects.
This is the latest in a number of key appointments for Montagu Evans in this area. It follows Simon Russian joining from L&G and Andrew Haughey joining from Capital & Regional to lead on development management and asset management respectively. Since then socioeconomic and data specialist Associate Morgan Reece has also joined from Mace Strategic Advisory.
