Public Consultation for Haventus – Ardersier Port, Inverness, IV2 7QX
Ardersier Port Ltd have now submitted their planning application to The Highland Council.
The proposals are for the “Continued port development and expansion of port related services for energy related uses, including marine dredging within the inner harbour, sea disposal or dredged sands, possible temporary stockpiling of dredged material, quay construction, erection of offices, industrial, and storage buildings, and associated infrastructure including manufacturing, assembly, delivery and export of port related cargo, parking, infrastructure, services, upfilling and re-grading/surfacing of new landward areas and landscaping” at Ardersier Port Ltd, Inverness, IV2 7QX.

We hosted two public consultation events.
PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT 1
We held our first event on Wednesday 11th June 2025, between 3pm – 7pm, at Station Road, Ardersier, Inverness, IV2 7SU. The proposal boards for the first consultation event are available to view online HERE.
PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT 2
We held our second event on Wednesday 27th August 2025, between 3pm – 7pm, at Station Road, Ardersier, Inverness, IV2 7SU.The proposal boards for the second consultation event are available to view online HERE.
We welcomed your views on the proposals, and all comments provided were considered by the design team and addressed in the submitted Pre-application Consultation Report.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION
A planning application has now been submitted to The Highland Council and should be available to view on their planning portal shortly.
Neighbour notifications and publicity will be undertaken, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations or letters of support directly to The Highland Council regarding the proposals at that time.
