Bruce has over thirty years’ real estate experience and specialises in forecasting, managing and mitigating occupational costs within complex corporate and operational organisations.

Extensive client-side experience includes negotiating Heathrow Airport’s rating liability, Gatwick Airport Property team leadership and accountability and management of the Tesco rating portfolio; this track record attracts requests for advice from many of the UK’s largest retail, corporate and operational ratepayers.

Prior to Montagu Evans, Bruce was Managing Director for GL Hearn; he led that business through a sale process and subsequent integration into new ownership and this, coupled with his client-side experience provided a unique perspective that remains commercially focused on delivery.

Bruce’s specialties lie in pragmatic strategic support and translating the complexities of the Business Rates system into practical and actionable advice. He is highly respected at an industry and client level and has provided strategic and technical advice to industry bodies including the British Retail Consortium and CBI.
