AXA Real Estate IM – Real Assets has appointed Montagu Evans to join CBRE and Knight Frank on the leasing team for the new flexible office space at The Foundry, part of its Assembly urban estate in Hammersmith.

The Foundry was comprehensively redeveloped by AXA IM – Real Assets, in conjunction with its appointed development managers Bell Hammer, and now boasts the largest single floorplates in the area, at 23,000 sq ft, as well as a squash court, roof terrace and excellent cycle & shower facilities including Brompton’s new cycle hire scheme.

Following recent lettings to Spaces on the ground and first floors and Navico on the part fourth floor, The Foundry now offers space from 10,000 up to 58,360 sq ft at a quoting rent of £57.50 per sq ft. The flexibly-designed office environment has been curated to promote staff productivity, health and wellbeing.

In addition to The Foundry, Assembly London comprises three other buildings including Smiths Square, a well-known local landmark with its façade hosting a 65 ft high permanent sculpture by surrealist artist Alex Chinneck, which gives the appearance that the building is being torn in half. The other two building within the urban campus are Farriers Yards and The Forge which are fully leased to a range of tenants. The entire development comprises of over 200,000 sq ft of office accommodation.

Tracy Collins, Partner at Montagu Evans, said:

“This is very flexible, Grade A space designed to meet a range of occupiers’ needs with uniquely large floorplates. With quoting rents of sub £60 per sq ft and a sports centre and roof terrace on-site, we’re expecting strong interest as a result of the amenities immediately at hand as well as The Foundry’s location 14 minutes to Green Park and 12 miles to Heathrow.”
