ROLE OVERVIEW

The role is to offer administrative support to the Risk & Compliance Manager and be part of building a Risk & Compliance function that is resilient and proactive. Assist with embedding compliance deeper within the various departments leading to better engagement and greater understanding. The role will cover all aspects of compliance administration including undertaking internal audits for ISO standards and undertaking KYC & AML checks on clients.

The role would suit an individual that has no prior experience in Compliance but is looking to specialise and extend their administration skills.

MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assisting Compliance Manager with day-to-day administration and assistance
  • Dealing with queries from staff or clients relating to compliance
  • Processing all KYC and AML requests
  • Create and maintain filing and documents
  • Assisting with client contracts, questionnaires, and ad hoc queries
  • Organising, storing and filing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning where necessary
  • Data capturing or tidying up of information
  • Assist with internal audits for ISO standards (training can be provided)
  • General compliance support and assisting when the Compliance Manager is absent
  • Providing staff with the relevant insurance certificates and ensure they are kept up to date on our intranet and easily accessible to staff
  • Updating company (non-HR) policies

DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Experienced user of IT systems and Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and general formatting
  • Mature and professional approach, confident in taking initiative to problem-solving
  • Controlling and monitoring even workload, experienced in meeting deadlines and working under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Willingness to learn and broaden knowledge in compliance
  • Working well as a team member, demonstrating responsibility, patience and understanding of other’s needs
