The Court of Appeal judgment in Bramshill is a recent heritage based case that have considered the question of harm and the countervailing benefits balance.

Associate Rosie Adamson will present the details of Bramshill, she also worked on the appeal along with Dr Chris Miele who gave evidence on the case.

The panel will discuss what impact the case as had and where does it leave the so-called ‘heritage balance’ and what about those development plan policies on the historic environment which are not in step with the Framework’s approach? Chris and Rosie will be joined by an expert panel. The panel consists of:  Planning Barrister, Zack Simons (Landmark Chambers), Senior Associate Annika Holden (Herbert Smith Freehills) and Partner,  Matthew White (Herbert Smith Freehills).
