Being an Associate

Associates at Montagu Evans are exposed to hands on client management, project management, team leadership and financials.

At an established stage in their career, we’re always on the lookout for those rising stars, our successors. Those wanting to push the boundaries, to challenge with ideas, to develop their deep sector expertise and to build a profile in the market.

Associates work hand in hand with Partners. They have an established client base, they collaborate across the business and we encourage and embrace their growing talent.

Being a surveyor or planner

As a surveyor or planner, whether newly qualified or reaching the next stage of their career, roles are measured and rewarded against developing technical expertise, business knowledge and client care.

Working with teams of Associates and Partners, whilst mentoring our Graduates, objectives focus on building technical expertise through events, Partner mentoring and practical application. We look to see a proactive attitude to opportunity spotting, collaborating with peers and the early stages of a loyal client and referral network.

Part of our central business

Our central teams such as finance, secretarial, marketing and business development, HR and IT are the crucial infrastructure needed for our business to operate. These vital roles provide the day to day stability to support our clients:

  • our dynamic marketing and business development team are tasked with promoting our business, our sector strategy, our brand and supporting client care;
  • at the heart of our business are our people, and our dedicated HR team look after the welfare and development of our teams to maintain and attract talent;
  • IT plays a crucial role in enabling our business to function inside and outside of the office encouraging agile and collaborative working;
  • our finance and compliance teams manage day-to-day financials and reporting to keep the business going; and
  • department assigned secretarial and PA support are the glue to team running as a crucial link across the business.
