Montagu Evans presents… Education
Get in touch
Education is at the heart of our economy: preparing younger generations for working life and giving more mature students a route to extend their expertise or train for something new. Ensuring the built environment is fit for purpose to meet these challenges is a top priority.
Planning for the future is difficult. Education policies change and funding regimes rarely recognise the property cycle or the time it takes to accurately plan for an education estate. But forward planning of property assets, built upon the core values of wellbeing, educational excellence and impact on society, will mean that you can deliver an environment for learning that is flexible enough to adapt to variations in policy and funding without losing sight of these tenets.
We work with a range of providers from early years through primary and secondary schools, to further and higher education institutions, as well as the Education & Skills Funding Agency and the Department for Education. This experience helps us understand each unique situation, navigating a range of issues from setting estates strategies to project delivery to help support academic aims and improve students’ experience.
We also understand the value that high quality education can bring to other plans and projects. Several of our team are governors, trustees and lecturers at educational establishments, collaborating with in-house experts across complementary sectors such as healthcare, Central Government and Local Authorities recognising opportunities that can be presented through housing, regeneration and the evolving role that town centres play in society. As custodians of delivering education to the population, we work to ensure your real estate is relevant, adaptable and fit for the future.
