Montagu Evans were instructed by Aberdeen Standard Investment PAIF to sell Palace Gardens to DWS immediately post Brexit.
A year later Montagu Evans were instructed to work through a pre-emption process with Enfield Council on the leasehold Palace Gardens scheme. Having successfully achieved that, the asset was also sold to DWS.
DWS then appointed Montagu Evans to advise on a comprehensive masterplanning project to re-design Enfield Town Centre and develop a high density residential and retail development of Palace Gardens. This is in pre-application and is focusing on how the existing shopping experience can remain operational while new tall buildings are introduced. In addition Montagu Evans is providing integrated townscape and heritage advice supporting the development.
