Key information
Appointed as lead planning and heritage advisors to the University of Leicester in relation to their transformative £500m programme of developments that will improve student facilities as well as public spaces over the next decade.
Montagu Evans coordinated the preparation and submission of planning applications for two major projects; a new school of business at the University’s Brookfield Campus and a major extension and refurbishment of the University’s Student Union building.
As well as advising on a number of other major projects that fall outside of the main campus masterplan area, these include Space Park Leicester, the redevelopment of the Freemen’s Common site for 1,200 student units alongside a new Teaching and Learning Centre and a new masterplan for the Oadby Campus and surrounding landholdings.
