Montagu Evans are now proud supporters of Pathways to Property, helping to broaden awareness of real estate as a career opportunity to students across a diverse talent pool.
Led by the Reading Real Estate Foundation at Henley Business School University of Reading, Pathways for Property launched in 2012 and has now engaged with over 14,000 students, 3,000 teachers and career advisors and nearly 900 parents.
As a firm, Montagu Evans recognise that a crucial aspect to improve future diversity and talent within the industry depends on widening awareness of real estate as a subject matter academically. Pathways to Property was established in response to improve awareness to 12 and 13 year old students ahead of deciding their career and giving them the support needed to achieve their ambitions.
Chris Keen, Diversity and Inclusion Champion at Montagu Evans, commented:
“It is more important more than ever that we recognise and improve diversity in all it’s form to ensure long-term change. We’re proud to support initiatives like Pathways to Property, to support broadening access and awareness to real estate as a profession.”
As a supporter, Montagu Evans will look to engage students and teachers through their school outreach programme, host work experience placements and support site visits and online courses.
