Montagu Evans continues to restructure and reshape its Property Management team, most recently with two new senior appointments to reinforce its sector-based approach. Jonathan Podmore, who joined the business last year, will be Head of Offices and John Prestwich, who has been with Montagu Evans for five years, takes on the role of Head of Retail within Property Management.

These new roles follow other appointments to the partnership over the last 12 months including Neil Worrall who joined as Head of Property Management, Debbie Rogers as Head of Destination and Rob Sanders as Head of Technology and Innovation

Prior to joining Montagu Evans, new Head of Offices Jonathan Podmore was a Senior Director and Head of Portfolio Management at CBRE, before which he was Senior Director – Head of Portfolio Management at BNP Paribas Real Estate for 15 years.  He has led and managed some of the largest property management mandates and most interesting office buildings in the UK.

John Prestwich, Head of Retail, has over 25 years’ market knowledge and experience. Having led the retail management teams at both Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE before joining Montagu Evans in 2017, John has extensive exposure to all aspects of the market including owners, agents, retailers, service providers and centre managers. He advises throughout an asset life cycle, from initial design conception, initial management set up, asset management and future proofing / repurposing.

Montagu Evans’ Property Management team now includes 160 people working in London and across the UK, focussing on offices and retail property within the firm’s sector-based approach. It manages a rent roll of over £500m per annum across 600 properties for a wide range of UK institutions, property companies and local authorities.
