Montagu Evans Internship Update: We regret to inform you that Montagu Evans Internship program for 2020 has been postponed until 2021.
Given the government request to reduce unnecessary travel and social interaction, we have taken steps to proactively protect our people by requesting they work from home.
As a result, and to ensure our interns receive the best possible experience with us, it made sense to postpone this year’s programme.
We hope you understand given the circumstances, and appreciate our number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of our people and those they engage with.
Ambition. curiosity. talent.
THAT’S WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR SUMMER INTERNS.
If you are in your second year of a real estate degree, planning degree or masters then you could be part of our Summer internship.
Our paid internship programme is perfect for those soon to start their final year of an RICS accredited real estate and/or RTPI accredited planning degree, or due to embark on an accredited Masters.
“My one month summer Internship at Montagu Evans far exceeded my expectations. The program was extremely well organised and the rotations across two different departments gave a practical insight into the varied opportunities within each discipline. We were given the opportunity to participate in current projects and even attend meetings with clients. The partners were accessible throughout and their guidance and feedback was invaluable. It was evident that those at the very top of the company take an active interest in the internship program.”
– Matthew Roberts, First Year Graduate.
Successful applicants will join a 4-week structured paid internship programme in July based in our London office. Surveying interns will rotate through a number of professional consultancy and transactional departments which will provide the opportunity to experience different areas and sectors of real estate.
Planning interns will join our specialist planning and development department for the 4 weeks, which will provide the opportunity to work on many high profile planning applications, site assessments and cross-departmental projects. You will learn valuable skills for the future, building on your commercial awareness and developing a good understanding of planning or surveying.
You will have the opportunity to work across key areas of the firm, be involved in a variety of projects, go on site visits and attend meetings to give you a better insight of what to expect as a Surveyor / Planner. There will also be a variety of social activities and team building events during your placement, being part of the culture at Montagu Evans. At the end of the internship you will present in teams as part of a wider group project that you will complete over the course of the 4 weeks.
