Ambition. curiosity. talent.
THAT’S WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR SUMMER INTERNS.
Montagu Evans is excited to be re-launching our Internship program for 2021. We want to welcome 10 Interns to our business over the summer to gain experience in a leading property consultancy. We have traditionally taken on graduates that are currently undertaking a real estate degree, planning degree or masters, however, this year we are opening our doors to a wider range of talent. If you have a keen passion for property and see this as a career path you would like to pursue but are not currently undertaking a property related degree, then we would still like to welcome you to be a part of the summer internship.
Our paid internship programme is perfect for those soon to start their final year of an RICS accredited real estate and/or RTPI accredited planning degree, or wish to pursue an accredited Masters.
“My one month summer Internship at Montagu Evans far exceeded my expectations. The program was extremely well organised and the rotations across two different departments gave a practical insight into the varied opportunities within each discipline. We were given the opportunity to participate in current projects and even attend meetings with clients. The partners were accessible throughout and their guidance and feedback was invaluable. It was evident that those at the very top of the company take an active interest in the internship program.”
– Matthew Roberts, Second Year Graduate.
Due to Covid19 restrictions, we are planning two different options of how the Internship will be delivered. Whilst we want to give you the best immersive experience, we also have to follow government guidelines.
If we resume normal working in our offices, the Internship will be over a 4 week period based in our office in London. However, if we are not able to go ahead with a face-to-face program we will revert to a 2 week virtual event.
Details of how the Internship will be delivered will be confirmed with successful applicants 4 weeks before the start date.
Surveying interns will rotate through several professional consultancy and transactional departments which will provide the opportunity to experience different areas and sectors of real estate.
Planning interns will join our specialist planning and development department for the 4 weeks, which will provide the opportunity to work on many high profile planning applications, site assessments and cross-departmental projects.
You will learn valuable skills for the future, building on your commercial awareness and developing a good understanding of planning or surveying.
You will have the opportunity to work across key areas of the firm, be involved in a variety of projects, go on site visits and attend meetings to give you a better insight of what to expect as a Surveyor / Planner. There will also be a variety of social activities and team building events during your placement, being part of the culture at Montagu Evans. At the end of the internship you will present in teams as part of a wider group project that you will complete over the course of the 4 weeks.
When is the internship period?
- 05 July 2021 – 30 July 2021
What are the degree requirements?
