This is an exciting new firm wide role with a broad remit across all teams and sector groups.

Working under the direction of the Senior Bids Executive, the role involves leading all day-to-day aspects of an individual bid. You’ll be involved in every aspect of the submission and have an excellent appreciation of what the client needs and how best to articulate how the firm can provide that. You’ll support the implementation and management of all necessary bid procedures, governance and processes. Educating colleagues on best practice and championing the bids function at all times will be crucial to improving responses and ultimately win rates.

About the role

  • Overall management of firm wide client pitches and promoting pitching best practice – championing the processes and structure in place
  • Support the Client Development Manager to continually improve the pitch process – particularly tools to streamline the process and increase efficiency
  • Monitoring and responding to / allocating correspondence from portals and tender inboxes
  • Coordinating the bid process, working with key stakeholders from kick-off through to submission
  • Contributing to the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities – using the information and data available to support fee earners make better informed decisions
  • Preparing CVs and team sheets
  • Drafting and reviewing bid content to ensure it is client specific, relevant and innovative
  • Manage the bid budget
  • Ensure timely delivery
  • Arrange all post bid reviews with clients post contract award / loss
  • Assist with monitoring bid pipeline and resource availability
  • Creating and circulating key client wins/deals/tender alerts
  • Actively seek to educate bid teams and the wider firm at all opportunities – spot training opportunities
  • Support the Senior Bids Exec in analysing and reporting on data/insights collected from the tender process

About you

  • Enthusiastic, pro-active with a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable and the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills
  • Able to manage workload and competing priorities
  • 4 years minimum experience within the property sector or professional services, experience in a bidding environment would be essential
  • Excellent IT skills – PowerPoint, Excel and Word as standard
