Adrian Owen re-joined Montagu Evans in October 2016 as an Equity Partner to lead the growth of the Housing lead sector which includes Development Consultancy, Transactional Management, Project Management, Residential Capital Markets (PRS & Student) Affordable Housing and Viability and Land teams.
Adrian has over 25 years’ experience in the residential development market and he has advised and transacted on a variety of projects. Previously, he was a Shareholder and Director at Hamptons International where he also spent time the Far East where he ran the Singapore and Hong Kong operations and the Central London business. Adrian joined BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2013 to work within their development arm to oversee the growth of direct development projects for the Bank and run the advisory group in the Housing related sector.
Adrian has significant experience advising on a large number of multi-faceted, principally residentially lead, mixed-use development projects for a considerable number of varying landowner and developer clients. This experience has enabled Adrian to be at the cutting edge of new ideas including direct project management, planning and planning gain, design and development consultancy, agency and transactional for both land and sales as well as marketing strategies and execution for iconic developments for both public and private sector clients.
During his career, he has been involved in a significant number of major projects that have given him a huge depth of knowledge in this sector that regularly adds value to his and the teams varied client base. This includes experience in his own development projects that he has taken from planning to practical completion adding ‘at the coal face’ experience to the advice he provides. He has and continues to create an entrepreneurial culture within his teams with a clear and communicative management style.
