Montagu Evans has announced two senior hires from CBRE on the retail side of the business alongside a number of promotions.
Chris Keen joins as a Partner in the retail and leisure team to start a new supermarket sector specialism at the firm. He joins after 15 years at CBRE where he was Senior Director. Montagu Evans said he is one of the market’s leading supermarket specialists and focuses primarily on advising landlord’s on rent reviews, renewals, lease re-gears, agency and investment.
John Prestwich has joined the firm after four years at CBRE where he was Senior Director and Head of UK Shopping Centre Management.
Prior to that Prestwich was Head of Retail Property Management at Cushman and Wakefield.
Montagu Evans said: "Prestwich’s appointment presents considerable synergies and consolidation of Montagu Evans’ expertise in this sector. The firm already has 4.5m sq ft under management having secured 18 shopping centre mandates in the last 18 months, including most recently The Mall in Camberley on behalf of Surrey Heath Borough Council.
