Canmoor, advised by Montagu Evans and Frankis Porter and acting on behalf of Welland Property Unit Trust, have let two units in Canning Town E16 setting new record rents for the area.
The newly-refurbished Supernova development comprising 10,060 sq ft of warehousing, including two storey offices, has been let to The Hire Man on a 10-year lease at a rent in excess of £20 per sq ft. It is the fifth depot for the award-winning tool hire and equipment services firm, which started out in Bermondsey in 1985.
Unit 2 on the Crescent Court Business Centre on North Crescent comprises 1,517 sq ft has been let to Access Industrial on a 6-year lease, also in excess of £20 per sq ft.
Montagu Evans and Frankis Porter are also marketing the remainder of the Crescent Court Business Centre which provides a mix of four new and refurbished units from 1,517 – 13,802 sq ft.
Tom Maltby, Asset Manager at Canmoor, said:
“These are new record rents for warehouse space in Canning Town, proving that there remains strong demand for centrally-located industrial/warehouse space.”
Canmoor is also marketing a third development in the area, Galaxy, which provides four new units in a terrace from 2,669 - 12,830 sq ft. The new space is due for completion in the spring and currently being marketed for prelets, also available via Montagu Evans and Frankis Porter.
