I am nearing the end of my tenth week at Montagu Evans in the Management team and I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone. I have been assisting the team with the management of large shopping centres which has been really fascinating.
During my time I have attended a three day shopping centre conference and a breakfast seminar titled “Going Shopping” – it was a pretty easy invite for me to accept, but sadly didn’t involve a trip to New Bond Street! However, all was not lost as we had a presentation by Trevor Wood where I was excited to hear I was part of a managing agent team ranked 9th in the country.
I am helping the team work on an acquisition of a large shopping centre scheme which we are hoping will complete in the next few weeks. With this new project coming together, I am confident that my time in Management will continue to be exciting and challenging. The only downside is that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at a shopping centre the same way again!
