Even though Christmas is now a distant memory it was great to see everyone at Montagu Evans still smiling as we entered into the January period, supposedly the worst month of the year. Since my last blog I have been involved in a number of new jobs within the residential team. Since returning from the Christmas break I have helped to complete two residual valuations (Red Book), one for Kingston Borough Council and the other for Newlon Housing Trust.
I have had the opportunity to assist with the potential disposal of a site in Hook. For this I was running development appraisals to check the viability of the proposed scheme, created a marketing brochure and composed a fee letter to send to our client. I was also taken to inspect the site and met with the client to discuss the potential disposal strategies. This just highlights the variety of work that I have been involved in with the residential development team here at Montagu Evans, and this is exactly why I chose to work here!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the residential development team and due to the exposure I have been given it has enabled me to develop my skills immensely. Sadly, I will be rotating to another team soon, but I am excited to see what new opportunities await!!
