I started off the week with a CPD event on housing land supply and the NPPF including speakers from Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners and Landmark Chambers. It was an interesting event which was very beneficial given its topical nature.
Back in the office and I've been busy submitting a number of ongoing planning applications which means I will now be working on new projects. The heritage team needing some graduate assistance with a planning policy context for a site in a green wedge allocation outside Leicester. I took on the task to research this and highlight the main heritage policies that needed to be considered. I have also been assisting with a heritage assessment for a site in the London of Camden. The site involves a Grade I listed building and is located in a conservation area. I prepared a map illustrating all listed buildings in the vicinity as well as the conservation area boundary. This will be used to determine the visual impact of a proposed scheme on the listed buildings and conservation area mapped.
