In this profession is it imperative that our professional capabilities keep pace with the current standards of the industry and indeed others in our field.
Continual Professional Development (CPD) is key in ensuring our knowledge stays relevant and up to date in a fast changing world. In order to give our clients the best advice we need to be aware of the changing trends and directions in our profession.
Last week was particularly active on the CPD front with myself and the other graduates attending a lecture that provided an update about the Landlord and Tenant arbitration process. The lecture explored the key differences between an independent witness and an arbitrator, giving us some key tips for making a winning case in practice.
I also attended a presentation given by the secured lending sub-team in Professional Services, providing an informative and detailed update on the London and UK Property Market to a key lender.
