I have just completed my first 6 months at Montagu Evans- how time flies! Reflecting on my first few months I have worked on a variety of projects and I have already submitted a wide range of applications- it is safe to say that no day is ever the same. However, this is what makes the role so challenging and interesting. The range of work, projects and responsibility has provided me with the opportunity to be constantly learning.
I am currently working on a project with other departments within Montagu Evans. This has provided me with an insight into how departments can work together and has provided me with a useful insight into the commercial side of development.
Over my first few months I have worked on a range of projects both within and outside of London. It has been interesting to gain experience at submitting schemes in London and gaining an understanding of the political aspects and policies which are quite specific to London.
Overall, my first six months has definitely flown by and whilst it has been a busy time it has also been very enjoyable. Looking towards the next few months I hope to continue to further my experience and get stuck into a range of projects. Within the next six months I will also be representing Montagu Evans at the JLL Triathlon as part of a relay team-better get training!
